We played 8 hands each of Hold-Em, Razz, Omaha/8, Badugi, Stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, Stud/8, Badacey/Baduci and Dramaha - in that order! We also played with a Full Kill, meaning if a player scooped two pots in a row we doubled the betting limits from $2/$4 to $4/$8 - easily our biggest stakes, really it puts Big Bet night to shame!
We started off 6 handed but within a half hour, 5 others arrived and we had two full-ish tables - perfect for playing all the games in the roatation.
Sharon played for most of the night and I believe was down a bit but not felted, she's very new to mix games but carried herself very well, intuitively bluffing in the right spots and also defending a bit lite when she had to - as all naturally good poker players do. Very impressive, considering some of the games she had literally never played before. I am so full of admiration for Sharon, who just jumped unblinking into the madness and more than held her own. I really hope she comes back for more mix action!
Vito did have to reload at one point, but I'm fairly certain he finished up for the night, as he barely lost a hand when he came over to my table in the last 3 hours of the night. He had well over a rack and a half when the game finally broke, just before 2am! Yes, mix game players always have the most fun!

And yes, I spun it up good and healthy, up over $200 in profit at one point while we still had two tables.
Alas, my big stack was not to last. Once we went down to a single table of 8 after 1130pm, I barely won a hand and ended up only maybe $60 in profit. Boo! Still a lot of fun though.
I should also mention that while we were still at two tables, Ms. Lea Anne stopped by and I kid you not - played a single round of Dramaha and won over $30 and then racked up and left! She was not hitting and running, at least not intentionally - she simply had come from her younger sons college graduation and it was late and she hadn't planned to play, but she loves the Dramaha (who doesn't) so she joined us for 8 hands, and said she would go after - and so she did!
As usual, some players finished a bit up, some a bit down, some with nice 3 figure profits and a few with dust. All in all, win or lose, I think everyone had a great time, I really love our Fix Limit Fiesta!
The next cash game is coming up super quick, so quick it's this Monday night! The Moose is on WSOP hiatus, so I'm providing an alternative to their usual weekly mix game table. Our Big Mix format is the same as at the Moose (with slightly higher stakes in the fix limit games and a single dollar blind instead of .25¢./.50¢ blinds - no fracs!) so it's a good option for those folks, and other PSP players of course, to get their poker fix in for the week.
After Monday there won't be poker again in the garage for over two weeks! The earliest game I can see happening is a Big Bet cash game night on Friday July 11. Nothing before that, and no tournament in the month of July! Boo! Just no time, we are all very busy and too many WSOP and Moose conflicts.
Have no fear, NL Hold-Em tournament play will return the first Saturday of August - Aug 2, most likely on the patio and possibly a 7pm start instead of 5:30 if it's more than 94 during the day. In the meantime there likely be a couple of cash games on Friday night (very likely also on the patio) during July. Whatever the format, it's going to be a long two weeks before we get back at it.
