So as it was, 19 hot (as in attractive, not temperature) degenerate gamblers gathered on the patio for an evening of poker al fresco' with a side of Pineapple - CRAZY Pineapple that is!

Sure it slows things down a bit, but it's always an intriguing reveal!
We had a couple of re-entries before the break, and one surrender during the break - and then as the sun set and the pizza digested - it was on!
We had the honor of entertaining guests from Temecula, Tina and Jeff made their way from way over yonder - we are very appreciative of them making such a long trek for our humble game. Unfortunately Tina was first to bust. Mr. Jeff played a bit longer, but alas succumbed before the final table.
Our newest Legacy player Josh was the unfortunate bubble boy - I alas was right behind him after falling under Eric P.'s spell and generously donating 3/4 of my stack by calling off his aggression with second pair. Well done by me. I got my monies back at least.
Finishing in fifth, the always amenable Dan L. who instead of first out made a nice deep run and scooped up double his buy in.
Out in 4th place after a hard fought battle with Mr. Big Stack (that would be Eric) - Allen finally relented and had to settle for $100 and change in a bounty or two.
Three handed play was much shorter than four handed - Rich found himself on the wrong end of a strong hand and all the chips (and I mean nearly all of them) went over to Eric because he didn't need any more.
Rich got third place and $160 for his efforts, plus a bounty or two if the picture above is correct.
Heads-up play was even briefer, as Jerry found himself all in with his blind - the cards were flipped, one was discarded and that was that. Jerry made a fantastic pay jump for $260 plus a bounty or two in second place.
And for the second month in a row - this guy - was atop the heap! Well done Eric I must say! You've made quite an impression on our little game, and yes it's a good one! Great guy and apparently a very good player! Your seat is now not only locked for the TOC, but now you get bonus chips to start.
A huge thanks to all who came out to rock out with the Pineapple action - I really appreciate you all 'taking a chance' on a different game (though really, it's not that different) - and next month it's back to the usual No-Limit Hold-Em.
We will be having TWO TOC qualifying NLHE tournaments in October. The first is our Halloween tournament which will be on Saturday, October 19. The second will be our Dia' De Los Muertos event which was going to be on my birthday November 1st - but will now likely be moved as me mum is visiting that weekend. At any rate - an extra chance to make it into the TOC for your degenerate asses coming up.
Looking very much forward to those events and others! Until then, peace and we out!
