22 gamblers piled into the garage. We had dedicated dealers, and I was one of them, so I didn’t get a chance to take too many pictures. I think dedicated dealers were a godsend in keeping everything clear and moving along, big thanks to Stuver and Nick for doing the duty. Ha ha I said duty.
We had zero bust outs before the break, because it’s fixed limit and we started with over 400 big blinds. Next year, I plan to allow reentries up until the end of level six, makes a lot more sense.
Our first table broke well after 10pm. Like all fixed limit tournaments, it seemed like it took forever for someone to bust out and then suddenly most players had less than 5 big bets in their stacks. Good times!
Dealing helped me a lot in terms of play - kept me from getting too tricky because I had to keep things moving. It also made time fly by, fast! Before I knew it it was final table time!
Though we only had 22 players, don't forget that all non-NLHE events at PSP are worth DOUBLE Player of the Year points.

Busting in 6th for their money back was the mighty Dog.
Mike P. exited next, for double his buy in and a hearty handshake.
Previous H.O.R.S.E. champ Frank bowed out in fourth and took home a whopping $100.
And then there were three, and Stuve finished third for $140.
With the hour late, the blinds high and $500 left in the prize pool, Eric and I made a deal which included him taking the seat (since I already have mine locked up). Well done my man Eric!
