Okay, some of you may have read (or tried to read) my long rambling post below the last tournament report about the upcoming World Series of Poker satellite plans.
Sorry about that mess. Here is a much more clarified version -
One WSOP Satellite - to take place at 7pm on FRIDAY, May 9th.
I HAVE CHANGED THE DATE YET AGAIN AS THE 31st IS AFTER THE WSOP HAS ALREADY STARTED, SPECIFICALLY, IT'S THE DAY OF THE MILLIONAIRE MAKER! INSTEAD OF A NOON SATELLITE ON THAT DAY, WE WILL HAVE A FRIDAY NIGHT TOURNAMENT AT 7PM.
Entry fee - $160.
I HAVE ALSO CHANGED THE ENTRY TO $160, AS I'VE BEEN TOLD BY MORE THAN ONE POTENTIAL PLAYER THAT $200 IS JUST A BIT TOO STEEP.
One table, 10 seats, no exceptions.
Winner takes all - meaning all the cash and a seat in the WSOP.
Three options if you win the seat.
1.) Use $1500 to buy into any bracelet event of your choice except for Events #8 or #51.
Your share if you cash is 60/40.
2.) Use $1500 to buy into Event #8 or Event #51.
Your share if you cash is 70/30.
3.) Use a minimum of $1500 to buy into as many Main Event mega-satellites as you can.
If you win a seat into the Main Event, play in it! Your share if you cash is then 80/20.
If you win first place but choose not to go to Vegas or are unable to go to Vegas for any reason other than a catastrophic life event (major injury, death in your immediate family, etc.) then the second place finisher will be awarded the seat.
As with all limited seating events, the host reserves the right to invite more senior players first. If you are new to the game and have a burning desire to play in this satellite be sure to email me right away.
