I was not the first to hit the rail, but I probably should have been. I did not play well and most of my hands looked like this.
And even when I did get this...
I didn't play them very well and of course an ace would hit the flop anyways.
Since we had fewer players the final table was drawn before 10pm.
Action was hot and heavy as the summer night air, and as the steaming bubble burst, with Dog D. collecting his buy in back, there was one stack that reigned supreme.
Bobby B.'s stack and collection of bounties loomed large over the rest of the field as the big bucks approached.

Three handed play continued for over a half an hour before Carlos T. once again ran like only he can, getting it all in against Jacob M. with AA. Jacob had KK and then this....
| Burn in hell poker. |
Then Jacob battled Bobby for a little bit but couldn't over come what was probably close to a 6 to 1 chip lead. Jacob pocketed $140 for second and Bobby B. took down $200 in first place cash and his first NLHE trophy. (He had previously won a trophy for Omaha/8).
It has been a long time since a player so thoroughly dominated a PSP tournament. From barely 45 minutes in Bobby grabbed a giant chip lead and never looked back. Well done and well deserved my friend! Bobby, like many longtime PSP players has a very busy life and can only make it out once or twice a year, so it was great to see him and see him playing so well. Hope you can make it back soon Bobby!
Our next tournament will be the second Saturday of July, the 13th at 7pm. I will be grilling burgers and dogs at 6pm, so feel free to come early and get your grub on. See you there!
