Friday Cash - 2023.07

 As Friday approached, the number of players signed up for a mix game cash session grew and grew until we were at 13! That meant two tables, all the mix game action people could handle. Every game was on the table, from Drawmaha, to Badugi, to all the Omaha varieties and even around of S.O.H.E.!

Barbara, Colin, Jason, Jeff G, Tom and Stuver made up the far table, and they played Drawmaha a bunch! We did not play a single hand of that game at our table, yours truly, Lea Anne, Jeff S, Mike C, Alan R, Richard and new player Benjamin. But we had all of the Omaha varieties to keep the action going.

It was well after 11 when a few people started to call it a night. As always, a few were down and a few were up. A couple of individuals did get felted and left with empty pockets, but no doubt their spirits lifted from an evening of fun!

We carried on with a single seven handed table for another hour and a half, that’s when the vaunted S.O.H.E, a.k.a. simultaneous Omaha and Hold-Em, made its debut.

It was well after midnight when the game finally broke, Colin was once again our big winner with over $200 in profit. Yours truly also did well locking up $150 above what I started with.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it a rollicking fun good time! Our next cash game is in three weeks and will be NL Hold-Em only.  But with bomb pots, a high hand bonus and the Nit Game thrown in, there will be plenty of action and fun to go around. Very much looking forward to it!
