First of all, everyone hates antes, so they understandably have to go, even though they are a key component to what drives aggression in no-limit tournaments. When you can raise a little to potentially make a lot, you will create action - when you eliminate a large portion of the pot pre-flop, you create a disincentive for aggression. The sole benefit of reducing this action is that you don't have to remember the antes, which are a HUGE pain in the ass when you don't have a dedicated dealer, which we don't.
Second, serious recreational players hate blinds doubling, so it has to be reasonably flat.
Third, almost all recreational players hate playing for more than 6 hours and not at least approaching the money.
All I can say about this structure, is that 2 out of 3 ain't bad. There are no antes, there is no doubling of blinds, but it will likely be just over 6 hours (maybe as much as 7) before the money bubble bursts.
The biggest tweak you will notice right away is the absence of a 25-50 level. With 30K, that is 300 big blinds, to start with, it seems absurd to include a level that gives players 600 big blinds.
You will also see that the end game is a teeny bit steeper than normal - instead of a 3000-4000-6000-8000 progression, we go 3000-5000-8000, which eliminates one of the middle levels and helps us get the tournament over before the sun comes up but still avoids doubling the blinds.
