Finally, finally, FINALLY - the temperature in the day in beautiful Burbank was not scorching, so it was back to the garage! This time, for our 9th cash game of the year. We've had almost as many tournaments in 2022, and I will say though I've loved both cash and tourney (especially the tourney I won) - there is no better time at PSP than a good old fashioned cash game mix!
Although it doesn't look like it, that last picture is one of the biggest pots I can remember. Teresa dragged a 3 way pot in PLO8 and it was close to $300, a tiny bit over or under I'm not sure. She gave a chunk of it back later, but finished the night (along with Colin and Ian) as one of the big winners.
Yours truly was in for $100 and out for $165. Had an absolute blast and finished with $65 extra in my pocket, doesn't get much better! (Well I suppose it can, but I felt that I was a big winner all the same!)
Almost everyone else was down a bit or up a bit, I really can't remember - there was one who blasted through three or four buy ins, but we've all been there!
I said last night that maybe we could have another one next Friday, but I forgot that I'm directing a big show next Saturday, so I'm going to be in rehearsal and long days (including Friday) leading up to it, so next Friday is a no-go. Boo!
Fear not, I will still send out an evite shortly - I need to see what date will work after my show is done. Stay tuned!
Until then, peace and we out!
