It was hot as balls in Burbank - but I still made the call to go inside, only because it's so much easier to set up.   A nice breeze kept it bearable as 22 sweaty degenerates crowded in for some good old fashioned No Limit Texas Hold-Em Tournament poker in The Garage Around Back.

I continued my streak of running (and playing) like dog shit - busting fairly early on, though not as early as mister Dan (never re-load) L - who was first to hit the rail.

The third table, the kiddie table in the corner in the above shot - broke at 8pm.  Both new players Leaane and Eric P. made it, and then made it to the final table which formed at 940.

Our unlucky bubbler was Mr. Mike KM, he took the beat in stride and hung out to talk movies with yours truly and the 6th place finisher Jason, who regaled us with industry talk as he pocketed his buy in.

Busting in fifth for $100, new player (though not new to poker) Leaane, who was a welcome addition to the garage and oddly the only female present.  All of our usual women players were AWOL, including Barb who is just now getting back from India.   Look forward to hearing about your adventures Babs!

Exiting in fourth place and scooping up $120 plus some bounties was Julie A's game transplant Mark D who has now cashed twice in the two tournaments he's ever played at PSP.  Nicely done Mr. Mark!

And then there were three...

Actually, one of these players is only shuffling...

 You can tell from the above pic that it was Jeff G. who busted in third place, pocketing $160 plus a bounty or two, leaving his homie Eric P and PSP 2019 tourney winner Colin to duke it out.

The heads up battle was brief but intense, and in the end, one of the best thing that can happen in our game happened - new guy took it down!

This game is easy, I'll be here every month!

Colin got $220 plus bounties, Eric got $320 and another $25 in bounties, plus the seat plus the jumbo card protector, a hearty handshake and a laurel.   Well done new Eric!  Watch out old Erics.

Our next one is looking like Sept. 21, and as always it's September so that means CRAZY PINEAPPLE!

There may or may not be stuff before that - we will see.

Congrats to our latest Legacy Hall of Fame inductee - Jeff S.  Overdue my friend, you were a huge part of this game for many years, glad to have you where you belong!
