WSOP Championship Update

Here is everyone's current starting stacks - along with how much they have to pay to pad their stacks and ending with how much their maximum stack can be.

Marc F.  - 24K + $10 = 26K
Dog D. - 22K + $5 = 23K
Mike P. - 17K + 0  =  19K
Mike K.  -    15K + $10 = 19K
Chris M. - 21K + 0 = 21K
Allen Q.    - 15K + $30 = 21K
Jason H. - 16K + $20 = 20K
Robert A. - 12K + $25 = 19K
Amy L. - 18K + $15 = 21K
David M. - 15K + $15 = 19K
Jeff M. - 8K + $35 = 19K

Remember, stacks are based on players participation and cashing.

League members are eligible to pad their stacks for $5 per 1K in chips based on the tournaments that they missed.  Since Mike P. and I didn't miss any - we don't get to pad.

Non-league members are paying a flat $110 fee for a stack based on the same criteria as league members, but they may not pad their stacks based on tournaments they have missed.

Once they have padded their stacks fully, league members then automatically have their stacks upgraded to the maximum stack of non-league members.

UPDATE: Noah P. is having a baby as I'm writing this (well, his wife is anyway) so he obviously won't be able to join us.

Robert is officially in!

Tony G. can't make it.

Eric and Barbara are the only brave non-league players joining us it seems, bringing the total players to 13.

Eric T. - $110 = 19K
Barbara N.         - $110 = 19K

$1055 + $165 (league players padding stacks) + $220 (non-league players) = $1440

As you can see, we are just shy of the $1500 mark.

I think it's pretty reasonable for me to collect an extra $5 from everyone on the day so we can make this seat - it is a far superior event in structure, prize-pool and starting stack.

If you have an objection (ie. would prefer to get travel money instead and play for the 1K seat) that is fine.  After you win the satellite, I will refund everyone's $5.  Just realize you will only be getting $200 in travel money, the remaining $230 will be rolled over into next years WSOP prize pool as is detailed here.

Very much looking forward to next week!
