Good times!
As usual, the Pepper Street Cash game had far too much table talk (the worst offender was yours truly) and far too much fun.
The format was mixed games; mostly fixed limit with some pot limit play. The latter games, while more infrequent, dominated the evening when it came to action and pot sizes.
Remember, the next cash game (which may or may not be in February - the month is pretty booked for me) will be a different format. It will be 25NLHE and PLO8. Translation - a fixed $25 buy in with alternating full rounds of No Limit Hold-Em and Pot Limit Omaha/8 only! Should be interesting!
Last night, in the end, Mike P. was our big winner, propelling him (at least until our first tournament) into the early lead in the Player of the Year race.
Speaking of January's tournament, the evite will be out shortly after I post this. We are playing on the 23rd. Can't wait!
